When you live in a region that has weather to reflect the different seasons, you must learn to adapt to sudden changes. You can choose to be miserable about it or you can try to see the good in it. Winter is finicky, you never know if you'll be getting snow, rain, freezing rain, fog or just plain old sunshine in the cold. Sometimes it can be inconvenient to have to bundle up under five or so layers to keep warm, but the beauty of snow can definitely become a breathtaking sight. So when you're ready, bundle up and stand outside and breath in winter, in a few months it'll be gone again and you can enjoy the warmer months once more.
