I've always loved the story of The Nutcracker. It's the one ballet that I can watch and understand, even if I've only ever seen it on TV. My wish is to see it for myself, performed on stage in all it's wondrous and magical glory. It's also a wonderful Christmas story. Perhaps that is the reason why I have a fondness for nutcrackers. To have them on a beautiful Christmas dress has made me extremely happy.
