Sometimes you wake up and you can already tell it's not going to be a good one, but try to remind yourself that it won't last forever. You woke up, got out of bed and did stuff, that's already a good achievement! Don't forget to try and smile that day either. If you think you can't, go out and buy yourself some pizza shoes or a pretty dress or an actual pizza! You can do it, I believe in you!

I've always loved snow...I hate the cold, but it's a compromise that I don't mind. Ice skating is fun and when I get the chance to do it, I take it. Cold, snowy winters are extremely beautiful to me, how could I not love it? Sure, snacks like donuts and hot chocolate turn cold after about ten minutes after being outside, but that doesn't make them less delicious!

I am not a morning person. Actually, a better phrase would be that I am not a good waker upper. It takes me a while at minimum an hour to start comprehending anything and in that time it's better that people interact with me as little as possible. Some days I'll lay in bed awake for an hour before I even feel like getting up and doing anything lol. Sounds lazy, and perhaps it is, but it is part of a few morning routines I have.

Everyone goes through rough patches, but instead of feeling down, feel thankful for the people who reach out to you and hold your hand. They are the bright, colorful rainbows in your life when you feel like a sad rain cloud. Post 137: Merry Christmas Everyone!

As of this post, it will be Christmas for some and Christmas Eve for the rest. I will keep this post short and simple as I know that many in the world will be celebrating this holiday in some way. I know that is not a phrase used by everyone, different cultures and religions have their own holiday saying at this time of the year, however my chosen phrase is the one I was raised with. I hope you all enjoy this wonderful holiday and tradition as the end of 2018 nears it's close.

Post 135: Calm Before the Storm

Truer words have never been spoken as what Jackée Harry has said about the chaos of life. For some, it really is a daily struggle. For others, they lead luckier, less chaotic daily lives. However, around the holidays, I think everyone experiences some chaos.

That's why I had decided to take a few days off this week, before the real chaos of Christmas and New Years begins. Don't get me wrong, I love what I do as a blogger, but knowing how hectic everything is about to get, I've had to chill out and refocus so I don't drive myself crazy! Writing is a calm for me, but every now and then I also need a break from doing it so I don't burn myself out.

I mean, I'm a tween for crying out loud, with tween attitude and outlook. If I have to hear my little sister scream again about being blind because she can't see momma outside I'm going to bash my head against the wall lol. Like, come on kid, you can see everything else. She literally has the biggest Christmas gift near the tree, it's too big to be shoved under the lower branches. Spoiled brat.

So just remember, my dear readers, when you start to feel overwhelmed, take a step back, close your eyes and take deep breathes. You've survived everything this year has thrown at you! Give yourself a hug knowing that you gave 110% and bring in the new year with a smile. <3
