Post 082: Halloween at the Beach

Tilted Halo has a couple of versatile outfits that fit both the Halloween and Beach theme. There's a pants and shirt set and a dress that both come with sandals. They also each come in the colors orange and purple with hibiscus Hawaiian print. Whether you're a ToddleeDoo or a Bebe, you'll be able to sport both of these outfits on the beach or handing out candy! If you like them all you need to do is visit Tilted Halo in world. EDIT: I apologize, both of these outfits also feature skulls among the hibiscus flowers that I somehow missed seeing/recognizing *embarrassed giggle* The skulls feature on the print make these even more amazing as it really brings out Hawaiian Halloween!

Post 081: Creepy Crawly

Spider kid, spider kid...

Doing whatever spider kid does.

Climbs the wall, doesn't fall...

Here comes...here comes the spider kid!

If I had to choose between arachnids and any type of worm looking thing, I would choose arachnids any day! I can tolerate spiders and scorpions way more than a caterpillar or centipede. That's why I was excited when I saw Boomerang's Spider Riders!

There are 7 that you can get from their gacha at Pumpkin Hill and 2 of those are Rares. When you get one, it'll come with a HUD so you can make your spider spit, have venom dripping from it's fangs and have web trailing behind it. They kinda reminds me of the spider jockeys from Minecraft!

Be sure to visit by October 31st, that's when the event ends, to get yourself your very own Spider Rider!

Post 080: Boo Boo Ca Choo

I love pink, I love cute things and I love Halloween. So when I saw this outfit from The Spunky Monkey in pink with its 3 little ghosties, I knew I had to have and showcase it. To me, pink is not just a color, it's a lifestyle and having a Halloween outfit in all its pinky glory is nothing short of fabulous. The 3 ghosts on the top each have different "hair styles": one with a giant purple bow, one with cute piggy tails and one with a ponytail. "Peek-a-booooooo" is sprawled between the ghosts as they fly around waiting for their Halloween treats!

The outfit itself has a texture/color changing HUD, so if you aren't digging the pink (why wouldn't you?!) you can choose different colored striped pants and tops with different designs. Thimble's new round is now open, so be sure to visit and pick up this outfit!

Post 079: Can I Have?

You ever wake up and think "I feel like dressing up today" even if all you plan to do is lounge on the couch and stuff your face with all your favorite snacks? Well, I felt like that today IRL and in SL I figured I would dress to match! The Cassandra Outfit from Precious Lil Angels was my choice and since I'm being honest, the boots were the deciding factor. They have butterflies on them to match the butterfly on my top. It'll come in 5 different colors, but if you buy the fatpack, you'll get a bonus 6th color.

As far as my snack goes, I have the Can I Have drink that's topped with candy and cute little bear! The Can I Have Gacha will have 10 different colors of candy drinks. With each one being just as cute, you really can't lose on it!

Post 077: Cancer Awareness & Anti-Bullying Month

With October being the celebratory month Cancer Awareness and Anti-bullying, I appreciate an event that would like to bring more awareness to both of those issues. That is why I absolutely love this month's theme for Boutique Explorers. 

Sponsors hit home runs with their free gifts once you visit and explore each participating shop and mark it off on your B.E. HUD. Royal Pain has a outfit that includes shirt, pants, sweater (tied around your waist) and hat. Featured on the hat is the word "Love" and on the shirt with a red background you'll see " Words hurt, what can you do to STOP cyber-bullying".

BeeBoo's Boutique sponsor gift is an adorable pillow with a bear wearing a pink ribbon and the words "laugh, love, live" surrounding it. It can be propped up anywhere or laid down for you to sit on. Reina Photography's gift is a pose set that includes background and prop signs that read "be a buddy, not a bully". It features a heart on the background with a pretty ombre blue, yellow and green color.

Post 076: Pose for Awareness

This is a 2 in 1 blog with both items available this month for Boutique Explorers. It's to bring awareness to cancer and anti-bullying and October is the official month for both of them.

Small Fries has comfy blue jammies with a giant heart surrounding the phrase "Choose Kind" in support of anti-bullying. They come rigged for Bad Seed Bebe and ToddleeDoo Baby & Kid.

Reina Photography is offering 3 different pose sets that also include props to show your support for cancer awareness. The ribbon prop in the featured photo is modifiable, so I changed it to lavender which signifies cancer awareness for all cancers. I had momma and poppa give me a boost so I could hold the ribbon! :D
