Nothing is more exhilarating than finding that school has been cancelled for the day because there's too much snow on the ground! That just means you can be outside having snowball fights with your friends instead of being cooped up in a classroom all day staring enviously out the window at the fresh powder.

 

Sure, snow is cold on an already cold day and your clothes will most definitely be wet by the time you get back inside the house to thaw your frozen body, but it's always worth it! There's a warm bath and hot chocolate to look forward to once you're inside and then you can relax snuggled in your favorite blanket.
